About VUE

VUE was launched in 2003 as a “roundtable-in-print” to bring together diverse education stakeholders with a wide range of viewpoints, including leading education writers and thinkers, as well as unconventional and seldom-heard voices. Each issue of VUE is organized around a theme, representing a cutting-edge analysis of a vital issue in urban public education. VUEs #1-48 (April 2018) were produced at AISR. The Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools at NYU's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development is the publisher of subsequent issues.

VUE is read by a national audience that includes policy-makers, researchers, administrators, educators, community and civic leaders, the media, and philanthropic officers.
